David Robinson

Programme Manager

David's role is to oversee the day-to-day running of the VRU, and to liaise with partners to develop interventions and the Serious Violence Action Plan. He has a criminal justice background and is an advocate for Trauma Informed Practice, and relational approaches to preventing and reducing violence.

Beth

Beth Womersley

Communications and Campaigns Officer

Beth's role is to communicate the work and importance of the VRU, both externally and internally. Notably, she led the Walk Away campaign in the summer of 2024 and once again over the Christmas period of 2024. Through press, digital channels and physical methods, the communications of the VRU play an important role in interventions.

Tremayne

Tremayne Blair

Community and Young Person Involvement Officer

Tremayne's role focuses on young people and communities. He ensures the VRU collaborates effectively with communities and integrates young people into every aspect of their work. Tremayne works collaboratively with Statutory and Voluntary/Community sector partners at all levels and other service providers to develop projects that are cost effective and sustainable, and which empower communities to work together. Tremayne is partnering with the Hope Collective to bring Hope Hacks to Derby and Derbyshire.

Katie

Katie Hibberd

Data Analyst

Katie's role is to draw on a wide range of Partnership data in order to develop a wide range of understanding of violence and it's causes to inform the development of the strategic needs and problem profiles for Derbyshire. This is completed by undertaking complex analysis, interpretation and understanding of data, including identifying trends.
